I am happy with the renovations in our upstairs bathroom but at the same time, I don't love it? Does that only make sense to me?
Everything was bought on the cheap and nothing completely goes together.
For example, the towel hooks and the toilet roll holder. They are both wood but the 'furniture' is all black wood.
Here is a picture since I do not make sense.
So I was at Wal-mart for something else and I looked in the bathroom aisle. I loved some hooks and toilet roll holders they had but didn't want to spend $10-$15 on something I already had.
Spray paint? Yes Sir. Why didn't I think of that months or years ago.
So much better, take a look.

The Line up
These are just a few things I ordered from Melaleuca and will let you know how they compare.
I will get to comparing these products right away and let you know the results!
Somethings I did not post below were the Attain bars and the Simply Fit Popcorn. Will tell you more another time
Palmolive vs. Ecosense Lemon Brite
Finish Quantrum (Which is my husbands favorite!) vs. Ecosense Diamond Brite (Which will be his favorite soon!)
CLR (I know such a strong cleaner) vs. Tub & Tile
Proactiv (been using for years, ONLY thing that has worked) vs. Zap-it
Melaleuca toothpaste vs. Colgate Total
Another good thing about Melaleuca shipping. Your kids can play in the boxes!

TUB & TILE
I went to clean the bathroom with Tub&Tile and took before pictures to show you the difference. Well unless the bathroom is really really dirty, you cant see much through my camera.
So I set out to be brave and drew on my tub with not one but two permanent markers.
I used to use CLR for most things because its tough and works in most cases. However it has a really strong bad odor that makes me feel like its killing me from the inside out and it burns your skin. So I wear gloves when I use it which sucks.
I bought Green Works a few months ago because I thought, hey it has green in the name. It must be good for you and it must work because I hear about it everywhere.
Now since actions speak louder than words. Take a look.
All worries are gone because Melaleuca Ecosense Tub&Tile got it all off! AAAAmazing!

PERMANANT
After using Green Works by Clorox. Not much difference
After CLR, a little came off, but not much. I started to get scared at this moment that I just ruined our tub

Let the Judging begin
I just received my first order of Melaleuca.
The all natural green household products plus.
The reason I keep telling you post after post about it is because the online shop is by referral only. Melaleuca doesn't rely on the regular advertisements but by word of mouth.
Besides the product I ordered I received some information booklets. I haven't read through all of it yet but let me share this.
1 Bottle of Melaleuca hand soap is $6.26 and you can get 500 pumps out of it
2.89 bottles of Bath & Body works foaming soap is $15.89 and that would get you 500 pumps
5 SoftSoap hand soaps would cost $14.95 and that gives you 500 pumps as well.
So lets count the positives shall we?
1.Its all natural and a green product
2. It ships right to you
3. You only have to get one vs. 3 or 5 bottles of other brands
4. It costs less!
Its such a good product and such a good company I have to share, I want to refer you to something so good.
Want more examples?
MelaPower 6X laundry detergent gives you 96 loads and costs $20.99
3 bottles of Ultra Tide 2X gives you 96 loads and costs $26.97
So once again, less bottles and cheaper cost.
I am going to do my own comparisons with the product I have but if you are anything like me (Costco Shopper) you have a stocked linen & cleaning closet. So Once I get through my major brands-expensive-not safe for the environment healthy for anyone-products I will get right to using my all natural-less expensive-good for all products.
Why not throw out the bad stuff and start using Melaleuca right now? Well I thought of it but I am too cheap.
I am going to host an information night for family and friends to come see the magic. Until then look at the great positive examples above and the 2 videos below. Ask me questions and let me sign you up!

Command
Have you always wanted to try the 3M command strips but didn't want to waste your money just in case they didn't work?
Well they work!
And it has stayed up fr a few days and been tested by little hands. AKA Mason & Mackenzie hitting it.
Also, Command did not pay for this post in any way-shape-or-form. I just wanted to show you that they work!
Well they work!
Holds up to 16lbs.
Our bedroom mirror that is constantly knocked over. It has four hook brackets to hang it up but i think it makes it look ugly.
Take two strips and press them together. you will hear a click ( it is like the 407 stickers)
all 8 pressed together to make 4.
press them to the back of the mirror {Look at all that laundry, yikes!}
take of the cover to stick it to the wall
press for ten seconds on the wall.
And it has stayed up fr a few days and been tested by little hands. AKA Mason & Mackenzie hitting it.
Also, Command did not pay for this post in any way-shape-or-form. I just wanted to show you that they work!
Another Peak
We are getting super excited about the little man turning ONE.
Planning his birthday has been fun for both Brandon and myself.
And since we are so-so-so-excited, we have some more sneak peaks for ya!

One Mans Garbage,
Is another man's treasure.
That saying came true this morning.
Driving around this morning with a grumpy baby, getting him to sleep. I drove past many piles of garbage.
There were two piles that caught my eye.
1. Turtle Sandbox
2. Toddler Play set
SCORE! if my friendly neighbors are reading this and notice something they put out for the garbage this morning. We would like to say thank you!
Mason and I went to Home Depot when he wasn't oh-so-grumpy and picked up some play sand for the sandbox. I might be more excited then Mason.
Speaking of garbage. Goodwill and Value village technically has peoples old stuff/garbage.
We go there occasionally and find great stuff.
See below...
When it comes to bargain shopping there are a few things to keep in mind.
-Go in with an open mind. Meaning don't go looking for one thing in particular because you will come out empty handed.
-Remember you wont find something that knocks your socks off every time. Its bargain shopping, you wont always find a bargain that you like.
-I usually buy things I can wash because you never know where it came from... just sayin'
-Keep in mind that things can a-l-w-a-y-s be spray painted or painted. Changing the whole look.

These 2 frames were $1. They will be seen at Masons party. But after his party is over, I will paint them and use them in the house.
The vase on the right was $2 and had a Home Sense sticker on the bottom still for $7. I guess whoever gave it away bought it there for $5 more than I did. Thanks friend!

Why I love Mela
You will notice a link to the right under my blog list. Its a new blog called "Why I Love Mela"
This blog is written by Tessa Kampen (My cousin, I think it would be cousin through marriage)
I have joined her team and became a member of Melaleuca.
I am so excited to get started and become a healthier family, in a greener world with more cash in our pockets.
To sum up what Melaleuca is. Its a store. Its a store where you buy necessities such as, toothpaste-laundry products-pet products-shampoo-cleaners-vitamins.. and the list goes on.
I heard someone say that sounds like shoppers drug mart! well it is in the concept that its a store where you buy that stuff BUT there is a hugeBUT difference.
It is all natural, green, cheaper than your regular store brands, ordered online, shipped to your door. AND totally refundable if you don't like it.
Imagine everything but your groceries being delivered. Sounds fancy right?
I hope you ask questions because that would mean you are looking into better products for you and the Earth. I will get every day products through Melaleuca and compare them to what we all buy (Tide, Colgate, Covergirl, Proactiv)
Lets face it, you are all skeptical and some of you think this post is a virus but its not! you will see.
no one Most people do not like change because it's hard to trust things now a days when it sounds "to good to be true"
So how about I do the research for you and you switch with me when you are ready?
Let the testing and journey begin.
Thanks again Tessa for the opportunity to join your team.
Along with Tessa's Blog where she talks about the products, you can check out this on Facebook. Watch the video with the little girl cleaning the floor. You will be amazed.

Keepin' It Cool
Changing Stores
I am changing stores. The stores where I buy vitamins, shampoo, laundry products, makeup, lotion, cleaning products, medicine. I will be visiting them no longer.
I have been introduced to a company that has all natural green products that work. The products are good for the environment and also good for us.
With a baby, I am always looking for ways to get more time and have a happy & healthy family.
Well I found it.
I am going to try out the products, let you know how it goes and hope you will make the change as well.
The best part about this company is that they will help me stay at home with my child.
I know so many people wish they could or could have stayed at home with their kids and here is my opportunity.
I looked into many companies like Avon, Pampered Chef, Arbonne. However, you have to take orders, arrange shipments, have parties, make presentations. I don't like any of those options. I am sure some of you agree.
Even if you are not a stay at home mom but you need some extra money each month to get by, this is for you too.
I was a little skeptical and Brandon (my husband) was even more skeptical. I have signed up and within 1-3 months of testing product and getting a pay cheque, I am going to show my husband that this will work.
Rather living off his pay cheque each pay period, I am going to show him that I can help out with our expenses, all the while, taking care of baby Mason, cleaning the house, taking care of meals, doing laundry etc.
Once some of the product gets delivered, such as shampoo, toothpaste, cleaning products, multi vitamin. I will give my rating and review and if you like what you see and hear, let me know. I can set you up with the all natural, all in one stop shop!
So all those that are reading and wondering where the pictures are at of furniture or renovations. not this post, sorry. However, I am still doing that. I will post shortly.
P.S my mother is a vitamin freak, so I can;t wait to find something to get her to try from the vitamin line. :)
